Today in Television History (November 17th, 1973): Schoolhouse Rock's "Conjunction Junction" Airs for the First Time!

On November 17th, 1973, the iconic "Schoolhouse Rock" music video "Conjunction Junction" aired for the first time. The song was sung by Jack Sheldon, who went on to sing other "Schoolhouse Rock" classics, such as "I'm Just a Bill". The song teaches children about conjunctions, within the setting of a railroad junction with a conductor. The music video has since become one of the most iconic "Schoolhouse Rock" music videos, and has also become a staple for 1970s nostalgia.
