"Brothers in Arms" CD

Dire Straits released their fifth studio album, Brothers in Arms, on May 17th, 1985 in the United States. The album was highly successful, most notably on Compact Disc (CD), where it became the first album in history to sell over 1 million copies on CD. The album featured hit songs such as "So Far Away", "Walk of Life", and "Money for Nothing". The latter became Dire Straits' only #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and was the first music video on MTV to be fully computer animated. Overall, the album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, and is considered one of the highest-selling albums of all time!
